Adze finish on oak

Adzing timber has been a method of shaping and cleaning oak for hundreds of years. At Calder Oak we use a machine tool to produce the effect of a adze finish. This brings out the grain and leaves the timber clean from marks while also shaping the oak to leave a contemporary rustic feel.
